  5. HiScan is programmed in Borland Pascal 7.0 and Assembler, and has
  6. gone through many changes thanks to feedback from the SSTV fraternity.

  8.      Modes of operation : Martin M1
  9.                           Scotty S1
  10.                           Scotty S2                
  11.                           Wraase WR180
  12.                           Scotty DX

  14. So far these are the only modes we have found interesting to deal
  15. with, but more may show up.

  17. The number of colours depends on graphics adapter and are the same 
  18. in both Transmit and Receive mode.
  19. VESA is supported provided you load the proper driver.
  20.  
  21. The picture format is TARGA, due to its ease of handling.
  22. The format is 320 by 240 pixels, each composed of 24 bits
  23. (plus 16 lines of grayscale on top of each transmitted frame).
